This might be of more interest to pure birders than pure photographers (I guess I'm both) but this Wood stork recently appeared in Nova Scotia, as the the province's 1st record, and one of very few for Canada. They are native to Florida, Central America, the Caribbean etc. It was very cooperative and completely ignored the close-by birders and photographers, to allow close images and to observe its method of feeding by stirring up the water with 1 foot to attract minnows.
