Some family members bought some new camera gear (200-500mm and a Z5), so we decided to go to Yellowstone for the day and try them out. We stopped to make some photos of some back lite willows with frost on them. I turned to go back and change lenses and happened to see something walking up the ridge. The first picture gives some context as to the distance away (Z6II and 70-200mm S at 200mm) and the other two are D500/500pf cropped. With so much distance between us, they are soft but good environmental shots. It was a definite benefit to have two bodies and long len on this day. In Yellowstone I feel it is almost a must. We also made some photos of the standards - Bison, Bighorn and Coyotes.
