The only building left is the brig which is now used as the museum. Some of the old guard houses are still standing and there are several concrete slabs that remain from the naval training days. one of the things that really strikes me is reading all of the tributes of the men who lost their lives... it’s hard to grasp how young those men were.Just read the history of the park. Do any buildings remain for the WWII training?

Isn't that tool so very handy; no need for masking work to jump over to LR any more! That image would be a great candidate for the new masking tools in Lightroom. Select subject, then increase the exposure only on the deer.
Very nice!Nikon D500 / 300mm pf + 1.4
Farragut State Park is a really interesting place to visit. Wonderful scenery and a very unique history.

I’m planning to eventually get Lightroom, however, right now riding a tricycle (Adobe Elements) is enough of a challengeThat image would be a great candidate for the new masking tools in Lightroom. Select subject, then increase the exposure only on the deer.
