Z 800mm for landscapes.

Interesting…I’d never have thought some lens this long would be used for landscape.

Photographing Landscapes... With the Nikon 800mm f/6.3?

I just returned from Bosque Del Apache, a beautiful wildlife refuge in New Mexico, where I spent a week testing the Nikon Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S. Yes, our copy of Nikon's longest Z lens finally arrived! Of course, as a landscape photographer, I mainly used it for landscapes, not wildlife.

I'm with you Patrick, when thinking landscape, for me it's normal or wide lens. I do see posts that are 200 or 300mm. 800mm will compress a wide/deep expanse..
