Z400 TC - Lens foot turning

In the field I carry this lens attached to Z9 camera body, on my side, using Blackrapid camera strap. I noticed that the lens foot turns around the lens body quite often. Here are two photos that will show what happened after today's 3 hours of walking around a local park. First photo was what I started with and the second one what I ended up with. No matter how much tightening I do, the foot on the body eventually turns. Since I rest the lens foot on my left palm while taking photo - this creates tilted images and needed to be straightened in post processing as I don't always notice this tilt in the middle of taking photos. This turning seems to be getting worse. I wonder if there's a washer missing from the screw that is holding the lens foot tight. Anybody has similar problem? Any suggestion?

The lens collar and foot is not the best attribute of the Z 400mm TC S. If the locking screw isn’t tightened very securely, the collar will rotate, and if it is tightened securely, it can be difficult to loosen the screw without tools. To keep the horizon straight, I use the electronic horizon option.

Thanks for various suggestions and comments.
I have removed that part of the lens coat that covered the lens collar. I took the combo out for a walk this morning and hour and half later it was still good, still need to do more outings to see if it has fixed or not. I had the lens coat on from day 1 when I got my lens more than year and half ago. No problem in the beginning but it crept in as months progressed.
