Z6ii Custom White Balance Issue-RESOLVED

I was trying to set a custom white balance with an Expodisc without luck so, I looked it up online and saw that after finding PRE-1 that I needed to do a long press on the Ok button to enter the measurement mode. I don’t have measurement mode as a choice, only the ”I” to return or “Ok”. As likely as not, I deselected it in some long forgotten menu and now I can’t find it. Does anyone know how to get it back?

thanks

Fn1 is the default button for WB on the Z6iii. If you press Fn1 you should be able to change WB using the command dial. If you hold Fn1 for a few seconds you will get the measure options, press OK then to measure the WB.

I believe on the Z6iii you will need a button programmed to WB if you want to set a preset WB. If you program Fn1 for some other function I believe you will need to program a different button for WB to measure custom presets.

Thank you, Marty. I had tried that already unsuccessfully. I did find the solution a few minutes ago.

I have my display set to prioritize viewfinder (2) and I have WB set as an option in my iMenu. I can choose a Pre WB setting in the iMenu using the viewfinder than hold the OK button for a few seconds and I get to the measure screen.
