Z8 recording two formats

I have a Nikon Z8 that I use to record video. I have it set for 4K ProRes 12bit. The camera records the 4K just fine in MOV but it also saves an HD version in mp4. I have searched the manual and cannot find a way to turn off the mp4 version. That wastes a lot of card memory. Any help would be appreciated. Thx
