Z9 Sleep mode ?

I noticed today that the top LCD does not go into sleep mode and continues to display settings even after the camera goes into sleep mode, is this the norm? I checked my Z6 and the top lcd goes blank when the camera goes into sleep mode.

My Z6 top display shuts off but my Z8 continues to show data. Not a Z9 of course but I imagine that does the same. The Z8 has entered sleep mode though. There is no other sign of life…

Picking both of the cameras up and moving them about wakes them up. No button presses needed. That surprised me. Note to self: don’t leave them in standby in a camera bag when travelling. (I always turn them off - honest).
