I have the AF assist light turned off in setting a12, but it still illuminates when using the self timer. Is there a way to turn it off? It is annoying when using 2 second timer for Astro shots

Well it there is I haven’t found it yet. You could put piece of gaffers tape over it if is that annoying to you.

Yes, that does the trick. Now we just need that setting on the Z8 as well
