Z9/Z8 noise and chroma noise - solved

I jumped onto z9 (and z8 as secondary body) bandwagon in May this year - after trying 800PF.
One of the issues I was dealing with was lots of noise (including chroma noise) compared to A1 at the same settings. Recently I got angry at Adobe for their practices, so I started to look for the alternatives. Well, to my surprise, RAW files opened in CaptureOne didn't have that noise! Then I checked NX studio - yes, same thing - no noise.
For the reference - I'm shooting RAW with zero adjustments (no effects whatsoever, zero, nada, none). And yes, Photoshop is using camera-specific profiles, so no error on this side either.
After that I checked all possible settings in PS and Camera Raw - no, absolutely nothing, as plain as it could possibly be. It's just PS bug.

So my workflow now is "open file in CaptureOne->edit in PS". It's inconvenient, plus CaptureOne is way slower working with big folders than Camera Raw of PS, but it is what it is. But at least I got rid of the noise.

Geez, it's end of year 2024, and Adobe STILL cannot properly open NEF files.
