I'm looking into the thing with showing only threads you haven't seen yet - so far no luck. You mentioned you looked around too - did you happen to find a plug-in? I'm willing to purchase one if I need to. I think it would be a good feature, I just haven't found an add-on.

My name has dropped off the trophy list, I have 63 points. Is this because the list only has new people that have been added recently?

@Howard5252 if you are referring to the most points list in the members section, then that would be because it only shows the top 20 members on the list. When there are more members all on the same points, there would be a mathematical formula that decides who makes the list. Hope this helps. If this isn't what you are referring to please provide more detail.

Hi, Steve. Don't know if this is a problem on my end or your's, but I have had some intermittent very slow response to loading pages on your site today.

I just tried it from Costa Rica and it loads immediately. I've had no other reports of a slow down, but I'll keep an eye out.

Hi Steve,

When I change the email address linked to my account, I don't receive the confirmation email. I checked the spam folder and it's not there.

This means I need to revert to the previous email address in order to be able to use the forum normally.

The same happened when I tried a couple of months ago

I changed my email about two months back and did not receive a confirmation email. I did check the spam folder as well. I have now gone back to my previous email and received a confirmation email immediately. Hence the ability to post this. My new email works fine with BCG store as I just downloaded an eBook. It appears that my new email provider is blocking the forum domain?

That's two reports of the same type of issue in a very short span - what is the domain of your e-mail providers (the @XXXX.com part)?

Steve, thanks. The issue is with outlook.com, the old gmail.com works fine. However outlook.com works fine with the bcg store. Shane

Wait - it's working now? I didn't do anything (I was waiting to hear from Tiago). I wonder if there's some odd glitch in the system. There are updates that I plan to do when I get back from my next trip - hopefully that'll fix it. However, I am glad you got it working :)

Yes! Yesterday morning 12 hours later the confirmation email did arrive in my spam folder. I then changed my email once again from old to new and the confirmation email came to my inbox immediately. Any way I am now receiving outlook.com emails to my inbox from bcgforums, no issues.

That's great! I wonder if there was an error sending the first time and when it retried it must have gone through. Thanks for the update :)

Apologies for the delay in responding.

I've managed to sort it out on my end too. It turn outs the emails were getting filtered to a secondary mail box (with a generic 'Forums' filter I had set up).

I receive emails from Steve about promo's, videos, etc., but a couple of months ago I stopped receiving emails about responses to my posts, or responses to posts that I had commented on. I checked my account setup and could not find anything wrong. I have also not made any changes to my email account.
Steve, any ideas?

Me too. For a while they started showing in the "junk" folder, then stopped completely. A couple of days ago I selected accept push notifications and started getting Google notices, but if I miss clicking that one, it goes away. If I don't see it, oh well. I still don't get the email notifications though I do get the weekly highlights emails.

I normally receive the "weekly digest" e-mail of the previous week's most popular topics. I've just realised that the last one I received was on September 25th, which by my reckoning means I haven't received the last two.

Nothing has changed on my end, and they haven't gone into spam.

Any ideas?

See if you get it this week. I changed your e-mail, saved, and changed it back to what it was originally and saved it. Not sure why, but that sometimes fixes it.
