It is possible the new EXPEED processor forthcoming in the Z9 is as important as the new stacked sensor (likely produced by TSC). However, there is no explicit confirmation Nikon-Socienext has already migrated Milbeat to 5NP. Nevertheless, basing the new EXPEED in 5NP will avoid the Z9 overheating alongside a few other benefits
