My credit card company sent me a text as to large purchase and a few minutes later I received an email from B&H with tracking data on my Z9.

The confirmation e-mail from B&H on the 28th was time stamped 8:03 am ET.
Mine has no time stamp just the time apple mail delivered it to me nothing in the body of the e mail from B&H

Have any non NPS members received any information on possible ship dates? I’ve called five different locations and seem to be getting nowhere. Adorama is telling me their backlog is 751 albeit some could be duplicate orders for people that have multiple preorders placed. BH has zero insight or projections.

As always, you need to be on your toes ordering a hot item from B&H. So far it is only the first 10mins at most (maybe only the first 6mins) that have shipped (non-NPS of course).
And those are just email times. Some emails are probably a min or two behind the actual submitted time. I read on DPR you can go into your order on B&H and find the actual time which will probably be a little earlier than the email.
If you want a Z9, best to start calling all the smaller stores and get on their much shorter lists. B&H list is probably 1000s long now.

I got a FedEx message yesterday that said it was supposed to be delivered by the end of the day. I think someone forgot to tell the computer that it was MLK day yesterday
The package spent 28 hours in the FedEx warehouse less than an hour away. At least it's on the truck to be delivered today

I keep getting my Z9 stuff one piece at a time from various places. Just got notice from Pro Cam that they had Z100-400 back in stock and got order confirmation with 1 day UPS shipping. So canceled my B&H and Samy's lens orders. At least my wife can use the lens on her Z50

Well bugger me, after being told i wouldn't get mine in the next batch only last week i get a call today... one of 12 units that come to Australia this shipment... stoked!

Picked up my Z9 today from a local camera store in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Non-NPS, but one of the first to order from the store on Oct 28.
Z100-400 arrived today and Nikon sent e mail that Z9 battery charger was back in stock (I never feel comfortable with just 1 charger). So orderd from Nikon USA and canceled my backordered order at B&H. So when that gets here I will have lenses and all accessories I ordered for Z9 just no Z9

Well, I didn't make the B&H shipping list that others have talked about. My confirmation email was at 10:40 Eastern, so I'm guessing there are still a fair number of orders between you 8 am-ers and mine. Could be a few weeks yet. mine was 8:35 PM Mountain ... so who knows .... I have later orders in at 2 smaller brick and mortar stores.

Good luck, obviously. As much as I would have liked to use a local store, saving the NY sales tax by using the B&H credit card was simply too strong an incentive to go with B&H.
we have until 3-31-22 to have that happen then we have to pay some other way if the Z9 has not shipped ... hopefully that happens or I get one sooner from where I have been getting some of the accessories in CA, or even Nikon USA no tax on ship to Idaho ... hoping that happens since no tax, free shipping and get 2% back on my regular credit card
I've called my store and they won't give me anything as to where I am on the list or how many have come in there. Just a request that I be patient. When I ordered the Z9, they told me I was in the first ten to order, but NPS orders could have been made afterwards. Oh, and BTW, I ordered in the evening of the day it was officially announced.
All I can think of now is how many pros want multiple copies of the camera for the upcoming olympic games. (In time to use the camera before they cover the Olympics.)

Out of curiosity, I asked my store this week and they have received some Z9 cameras, but not enough to make it to me at #7 on the list. My order at Adorama came through. Now I just need to be 100% sure I don’t want a second one before I get called about the other preorder.
