It is quite real. This was a Christmas Decoration from our house that we put out by our feeder after the holiday was over. If you look in the snow you can see some seed hulls from where they sat there to finish their breakfast. My wife got a great shot of a Carolina Wren on the same decoration.Beautiful. very creative, you gave me some new ideas to play with, he is real and not a stuffed toy?

They do not get any better than this! Looks like you have rejuvenated a whole bunch of people including myself. Sometimes we overlook the obvious and loose the shot of a lifetime. Congratulations!

It's a spot I enjoy going to at sunrise. 30 minutes or so after sunrise a woman always comes by dropping bird seed. At first I was annoyed by it because it change their 'natural' behavior but over time I started to enjoy ir for some of the low to the ground, flitting and flying in and out opportunities it provided.

Love the mourning dove. Used to spend summers on my aunt and uncle's farm. Often heard them cooing in the morning. Now, every time I hear one, it takes me right back to the farm.
