Today (02/6/24) I took this photograph of a Cygnet just approach some long grass with three siblings and parents at a local park/nature reserve.
This bird is beginning to molt into its Winter Plumage. Most of the Yellow has gone, but some remains. In this heavily cropped picture, you can see some of the remaining yellow, and its delicate feather structure. Shot through double glazed glass.

I witnessed the birthing of these four red dogs as well as seven others on the morning of this video just outside my camp on the Madison River before sunrise. Was lucky enough to capture this footage of their return in the evening...

This year is the best I've seen in the past 20 years for the Porter's Sunflower in the Atlanta area. This small 1 1/2 inch yellow sunflower is found on exposed granite monadnocks - like Stone Mountain SP, Panola Mountain SP, and Arabia Mountain Heritage Area. I've visited Arabia Mountain twice...
This little Blue Tit, one of a pair, was in the morning light (12/5/21) around 0700 using my D500 with the Sigma 150-600C at max and settings of s1000 f10 auto-ISO500.
The pair are using a bird box in my garden, so hopefully I might get some action shots at some point especially if they have...
