Humpback whale calf taken at the Silver Bank between the Dominican Republic and Turks and Caicos Islands.
Thousands of North Atlantic humpback whales migrate to the Silver Bank each winter to mate or give birth, so there are many moms with calves there. The calves can be quite curious and active, like the youngster shown here.
