I'm confused most of the time. Thanks! I was just looking at it the position in the photo, not where it is from your perspective when looking at it, Is this confusing ?

Wonderful shotGetting up 4:45 in the morning only to find that the fog is on the lake is not my idea of a good start to the day. Nonetheless, we took off in a boat to explore in the hopes that the fog would dissipate. While slowly moving through the fog, we came upon a Common Loon in a small clear area. We watched him for a bit, and he performed by stretching his wings. Because he was in the clear, the sunlight reflected off of one wing, but because the clearing was small, the trees on nearby islands were a bit obscured. I really liked the sense of depth given by loon in the foreground, the better defined trees on the left and the less well defined, more distant trees on the the right.View attachment 70476
Thank you, Shari!Wonderful shot
Thanks so much, Chuck! Taken in central British Columbia.I guess getting up at 4:00 in the morning paid off. Great shot, this is wall worthy. Can I ask what part of the country this was shot?

Ah, Karen, you are too kind!Very, very nice! I like how the light caught the right wing tip. I wouldn't change a thing!
Thank you so very much, Rose!Well done. Love it!
Thank you very much, Anna Maria!Beautiful, the atmosphere, subtle colors and detail with loon…. As if he is greeting the day and the lake all to himself.
