A new family member in the studio... it's called Plena...

I got my Plena about six weeks ago for use on my Z9. I am loving it. Here are three pictures taken recently with the lens on my Z9.

Gratz Joel, glad you finally got it :) Would love to see that first shot of the baby with the Plena lens and 1/4 black mist filter. It would look absolutely etherea.

Nice selection of shots further down. Enjoy that beast of a lens!
This was the first baby shot. un-edited
I'm not comfortable to add a 1/4 black mist filter on top of the Plena...

Great pictures and congratulations on your newest child (the lens that is)! Great mix of subject matter really shows how strong this lens is.

I've been pining over this lens for the past two weeks having finally jumped on the "Zed" band wagon with my new Z9. It's an existing hole in my current crop of carry-over f-mount lenses that I've rented in the past and loved. I think the 135 Plena will indeed become my first official "Z" lens!

135mm's have been one of if not my favorite lenses going back 20+ years for indoor sports and portraiture and are hidden gems for wildlife photography, particularly on cameras like A7R5's where you can crop soooo deep into the image. Combined with the lowlight capability makes it a lens every wildlife photographer should have in their bags.

I also rcvd this lens days ago and have taken only 2 shots on it, one is attached.
Neighbors yappy dog thru the fence. Loved the sharpness & too-much detail of muzzle hair & tongue, and the bokeh of the rest. Click & expand for the details,
Regretting I didn't get this when it came out. Not sure this was the type of portraiture Nikon had in mind during development of the lens.
