Since moving to mirrorless, I'm attempting to downsize my collection of equipment. I came across this lens, that was part of a lens kit when I first started out with my D5600. it's a good lens, and I wondered if I could use it with my Z9 or Z8?

You can, but it's a dx lens, so you're stuck in dx mode (19mp).
I wouldn't bother, personally. Just buy the 105 z version eventually.

Macro lenses that are under 100mm give you such a small working distance too.
It’s handy on a Z50. Even with the FTZ adapter it’s extremely lightweight.
