Affinity Photo 2 $35

Bought Version 2 earlier this year when it was about $35 or so. Great deal. Haven’t taken the time to learn it well yet. But what I have learned impresses me as a workable replacement for Photoshop without the subscription requirement.

I just bought all 3 affinity programs in an upgrade offer for 30 dollars. It was a month ago. I have used affinity for several years and the V2 version is a major upgrade. I know everyone love Photoshop and I can't knock it but I can't stand perpetual bills. Personally affinity for 35 dollars is a steal.
Question. If you have Photoshop and stop paying do you get to keep what you have? Or can you no longer use it?

I just purchased Affinity Photo 2.
I will be the 1st editing software I am actually going to try and learn
I'd like to learn from a written source rather than from youtube or video's
Does anyone know if there is some kind of electronic document I can use to follow as part of getting to know the basics before progressing to more advanced usage
In this day and age my request might be a sill one

Essential Affinity Photo 2 by Robin Whalley is an inexpensive ebook or pdf (you can get the document in the format of your choice) that will walk you through the basics https://lenscraft.co.uk/learn-photography/

had v1 and v2 - what type of AI features does the beta do? Like the latest PS AI has what seems pretty good AI for removing people.

Given Affinity is now owned by Canva I would get whatever you need from Affinity now before Canva goes to rentware

Last chance. 50% off ends December 10. Just got the email.

The Beta is available to Affinity Photo 2 owners. I haven't found any bugs yet.

Been using Affinity since V1. It's a very good photo editing tool. Lots of tutorials out there too. Way more powerful than I will ever need.
