Great angle, & thanks!I was also shooting low down - sitting on the floor of the boat which made the hippo appear closer, and I also cropped in by around 20%,

that snowy plover clearly means business, too!You got the great shot!!! Love it up close but scary I am sure! Had the same experience with a snowy plover. I can relate to adrenalin rush?

Our boat definitely had a motor,MUST ROW FASTER...Lol. Hopefully your boat had a motor! That is scary looking. I've read they move really fast for such a large beast. Hats off to your guide and tour group! Great photo!
