Angry Northern Mockingbird!

This is one of my favorite photos, taken in Florida, December 2021. Critiques appreciated! The bird was perched on an umbrella pole, which is why I went for a headshot.
Canon eos 70d with Sigma 150-600mm C lens.
1/400 at f/8, ISO 800.

Lovely crisp view of the tonsils (or lack of! ). I’d be tempted to take it to a square crop as for me, the empty sides don’t add anything. Just a suggestion!
