Ant with Sony 90mm Macro on A1

Today I received my Sony 90mm Macro. Went looking for bugs. Found this ant on damaged mesquite tree leaves. Couldn't figure out why he was there until I processed photos and cropped them. Look around the ant and you'll see little yellow things. The ant is about 1/4", don't know how small the aphids? are. I could'nt see them through the camera. These are pretty big crops.

Thank you. I went out today to check to see if I could see aphids? with naked eye, and I can now that I know they are there, but barely, they are tiny.
