Thank you Dan... I wish I had some of the wildlife targets you get in AK, but I take what I can get. That's a great shot. What could say fall better than those colors and a rutting buck? Thanks for taking me down memory lane...
Thank you Chris...Great photo and nice specimen

Thank you very much... He is a good looking guy and will sire many fawns.Nailed the Buck! Fantastic - he has a symmetrical rack - sweet bonus
Thanks! Yes... I had to push the ISO, as it was a drizzly morning. I took a number of photos of this guy and many suffered from motion blur. For this image I was using a downed log as support.A beauty. You nailed the combination of shutter speed and ISO. Guessing any subsequent frames have motion blur. Looks like he just spotted you and is ready to bolt.
Thanks... Not battle, but love.Wonderful capture. Great colors, and that pose shows off his rack and thick neck. He is ready for battle!
Thank you... His neck is huge... very swollen and suggestive that he is ready to mate.nice shot. He's a big boy.
Thank youNice capture, he looks like he's full of energy.
Thank you JAS... The neck on this guy is striking!Wonderful capture. Great colors, and that pose shows off his rack and thick neck. He is ready for battle!
Thank youBeautiful image. That's one healthy boy!
You know your deer... this suggests that he is a very mature buck. While his antler count may not increase, the thickness or the rack will probably grow with the brow tines if he makes it through 2024.Adding to my earlier comment: Fantastic brow tines-super long
he's on the prowl. Love is in the air. We're about 10 days or so away from rut here in Kentucky.Thank you... His neck is huge... very swollen and suggestive that he is ready to mate.
