B&W when things aren't perfect... Migratory birds in the bay

I went out this morning for the migratory shore bird before they leave for their breeding grounds north. The light was going both me and the focus system a hard time being into me predominantly and glare off the water... Got home and most of the shots I will delete However, I did a few in B&W to have a look, I don't mind them for something different.

Thoughts, yay or nay?

Yes I like those shots - is the large bird a Pelican ? that shot gives it plenty of perspective against the blurred out smaller birds ..

Thanks Harry, yeah Australian pelican. I liked that shot for the odd man out kinda thing.

No 2 is my favourite, i'd make a large print of it, like 1*2 meters and hang it on the wall!
Sometimes less is more and B&W is underrated, well done Dean!
