Lovely photo, I wonder what it would look like in monochrome?

I've done very limited experimenting in black and white so my post processing skills are negligible. Someone else could probably do a much better job. I've looked at the B&W before and decided I preferred a couple of things in the color. 1) I like the cool (blueish) color tint and 2) I think the greenery provides a contrast to the monochrome tree that makes it stand out more; gives more emphasis to the main subject.

The only difference in Lightroom between the two is this one has Black and White selected for Presence and the Black is pulled down about 20 and White pushed up about 20. Given the limited skills, it might look a lot like this:
