BIF Double-crested Cormorant passing-by low in early light. Only a 'few' of these guys when this shot was taken a couple weekends ago; by now (in a normal year, at least) there will be thousands in this spot.
PS -- that +.5 exposure boost was left over (e.g. I always forget to return it to zero immediately )from the few minutes before this shot when I was shooting birds in this water before the sun broke over the high shorebank behind me.
