Only owned Nikon DSLRs/SLRs

I own the 186- great lens, but very heavy
The z 600mm PF is a bit more than 1lbs lighter than the 186. For me, it makes a big difference in being able to carry and shoot.

The z 100-400 is something to consider for flexibility, and allows for a very close focusing distance- almost on the level of a macro

I love the z8, only downside is dual card slot is not dual CFx. Everything is a trade off
