Howard, they're not easy to take if you live in England! I'd like to have the chance.
Did you know ......??? Those joints about halfway up the bird's legs are NOT its knees; it's the bird's ankles !! The knees are somewhere up under the body feathers.
No Pelicans in England! Sorry. My Pelican shots were taken in Loreto Mexico. I don't live in Loreto, I was there while on a whale watching trip. Perhaps when the Pandemic is over, a trip will be in your future. They do make good subjects for novices to the sport of photographing BIF.Howard, they're not easy to take if you live in England! I'd like to have the chance.
