I know how fast these guys can travel. What country are you in? It looks different to our Nankeen Kestrel (Australia). I once had close encounter (further back in this thread). Took me back to that day. Great capture!

I think that these are Least Sandpipers. They came flying by and I just had time for a short burst. This is the only ok-ish shot that I got.View attachment 5869
I had a similar thing happen at a small lake a couple weeks ago. About a dozen came swooping in, made a low looping pass and flew away. Happened real quick and I was not able to get any keepers (I am using the 'too far away' excuse). Great capture!!!
