Wish I could take credit for this one. My nephew started photography about 8 months ago with a Nikon D3500. He also volunteered at an animal sanctuary in Florida and got to participate in some bird releases. Not bad for a beginner.

Great shot Clippy! I've got hundreds of Pine Siskin shots as they're the most frequent visitor to our feeders, but none like that. Really great image!
Thanks Dave, just lucky. We might get Pine Siskins a day the fall and a day in the spring. But they have been here a week now. It's very dry here and the birds are staying close to a fountain in the backyard. The birds hover over the fountain so maybe not such a difficult shot.

It’s very nice 👍

Came across some Clark's Nutcrackers foraging around on the ground this morning and managed to capture a few flight shots.

This morning, 5:30am, cloud cover... 12800 ISO, (D850, 200-500 cropped to 5500ish long side) the camera wasn't even turned on nor lens cap removed when it went for a dive... needless to say i popped the cap off and turned it on pretty fast to at lease get it coming past with breaky.
