Came across this Spotted Sandpiper today. He'd perch on one stick out in a stream and then fly across to another one and kept repeating this back and forth flight path. On about the fourth flight I managed to capture this fly-by shot.

Sorry to cross post this but I do love the expression on the nankeen kestrel's face....they certainly love to use their neck like a periscope! Hunting the coastal strip here in Western Australia. Nikon D500/Nikon 300mm f2.8 VRII + 1.4 TCIII @ 420mm, f5.6, ISO560, 1/2000th

You really did an excellent job with the sky replacement. Most times I see this done people don't pay attention to the lighting in the sky vs that on the subject. In this case it works perfectly. Nicely done.

I am not a fan of composite photos but this is extremely well done. Good job
