Clouds were rolling through most of the day yesterday delivering some interesting lighting like this Great Blue Heron lit by the morning sun with the background mountain side falling into the shade.

Here's a favorite recent one, a great gray owl in flght this summer. I only got a couple in focus, hence my thoughts on getting a D6 but now probably waiting for the Z9. The D850 does a good job overall tough on birds in flight I'd say.
