Yup! A mountain side which was mostly rock was reflecting in the water. Combined with morning light and boom! Not a shot I could get in TX or FL where I typically see them.

Dave - that 300mm rocks! Amazed how still the water was so that you got that incredible reflection. Nice shot. I have some wood ducks with similar reflection and weather plays a big roll in getting that "still" water. Where I live we have a lot of wind and even light wind will put a few ripples in the water as the birds go by. Congrats man!
