The only places you find these stilts in Missouri are swampy areas....so no creamy smooth, ethereal shades of tans and blues you find at beaches. I'm going to have to
reevaluate 20fps for shore birds. I generated 7400 images as these stilts and a white-faced ibis foraged by several times. I was attempting to be judicious by only taking
images when they were close and walking either parallel or towards me. It took a while to cull them down 200 images. These are some with the cleanest/debris free water.
Z9, 500mmF4VRII, TC-14EIII. Looking forward to getting rid of some weight with the 800mmF6.3. Not NPS so who knows when I'll get one.
