Most of my photography life I have usually adhered to the basic rules of photography including perspective. As I have gotten older, I have begun to see there's beauty in breaking the rules, especially with perspective. I think there are lots of great shots to be taken whether it's photographing subjects above, below, from the back etc... These are two examples lately where I think breaking these rules just works. There's one example of shooting overhead and another shooting down on the subject. I would like to hear others thoughts on this and if you always adhere to the rules?
