Broke in the D850

I recently traded in my D750 for a new D850 and I am so glad I did. The overall feel of the camera and controls are amazing. Here are a some of my first shots I took at Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA.

It is great to hear that your upgrade went so well. I am currently shooting with a D500 and D750 and had planned to eventually add a Z body. Originally I had planned on a Z6ii, but have now been rethinking about my options. I had a chance to try out a D850 recently and for action work, it, like the D500, offers great performance and value. It is quite tempting, but the Z glass keeps pulling me towards a Z body, and I really cannot afford both, especially if Nikon releases a new Z body in the next year that is more action oriented (i.e. some of the Z9 AF performance in a more affordable body). It is great to have such choices, but it is frustrating that the body I want is an F mount and the glass is Z mount. Yes, there is F mount glass that I would like, like the 500 PF, but that is also out of my budget. So, I have a few more weeks while the D850 is on sale to decide.

I just noticed that the pictures I posted look a lot softer than they are on my computer. I exported them from lightroom using 1200px as the long side. Is there a better way?

Sometimes I won’t downsize. I will just crop and then it retains sharpness, But it’s a crapshoot because sometimes the upload fails.
