Beautiful set of images Lance! I must move north and south from Victoria again, after getting fitted with 2 new hips last year! The brakes are off!

What I find is that people like striking looking birds or birds doing interesting things. People are not always interested in the more drab looking birds and thus why I try to put up the more colourful birds.

You have some beauties. I hope to get to your island someday. Looking at your parrot pictures reminded me of something I heard recently- that falcons are more closely related to parrots than hawks or other raptors.
