What I find is that people like striking looking birds or birds doing interesting things. People are not always interested in the more drab looking birds and thus why I try to put up the more colourful birds.

These are all Australian native birds.
You have some beauties. I hope to get to your island someday. Looking at your parrot pictures reminded me of something I heard recently- that falcons are more closely related to parrots than hawks or other raptors.

Lance, these are all great images. We’re the birds you associated with each month photographed in that month?
