I went back through my Lightroom library today and re-edited this photo of a fall Cape May warbler I took in mid October 2020. The second photo was reedited a few weeks ago. At the time I was using a screwdrive AF Tokina 300mm F/4 AT-X with a Kenko 1.4TC, but rented the 300 PF + TC14e III for a week just to try it out. As I was leaving I saw this small yellow bird feeding only a few feet off the ground in a shrub. It was a very late Cape May warbler. Usually they're gone by the end of September. I sat and watched it for a good 5 minutes from a very close distance. It was on migration so it didn't really care about my presence. It was focused on finding some protein and I was focused on taking some good photos. Enjoy!
