Here is my try at the comet before the moon came up tonight (600 mm f 6.3 telescope, 6 min. at ISO 1600).

well, it is a landscape of stars.Cool and nicely captured. Maybe Steve should rename this section " Landscape and Astro".

Your comet is a nice capture too, not so easy to obtain! I have a scope with a mount that can track and I can lock on to a star to make a longer exposure without getting star trails at 600 mm. That makes it easier for me. I stopped at 6 min. so that movement of the comet did not start to become obvious.Much better than mine
