What About storage, i.e., 512, one terabyte, or 2 TB? Or is the 512 sufficient, with my portable SSD drives of 2 TB each?
Re: MS Word on your desktop, I’m assuming that you are using Parallels? Parallels is an awful program and I gave up using it in lieu of Microsoft 365 subscription, in which I open all of my Word documents on my desktop iMac 2017 with 16 GB of RAM, no problem.

Nope. Running Office 365 natively on my iMac. As for storage, I keep all my photos on an external drive. If you do that 512 should be sufficient.

My experience is that 32 GB would be more than enough RAM for processing RAW images from a Z8.
