Thank you ... 50 or more bird ebird ID photos in the month and then luck of the draw from that group. Yes Zeiss does send binoculars. I may be the only birder in Boise that does not use binoculars 
I am actually more efficient using my camera (my portable spoting scope). I have a like new pair of Vortex Diamond Backs in my closet that my granddaughter used today, she is home from grad school and wanted to go birding with grandma and grandpa. Bald Eagle, Merlin and Barrows Goldeneye the highlights of our walk along the Boise River.

Had to laugh at your "confession" of not using binoculars. I don't either. Tried a couple of times, but only managed to get the bin straps all tangled up in my camera strap. By the time I got untangled, the bird(s) had flown the coop. So much easier for me to use the long lens mounted on the camera.
