Thank you. What a beautiful scene with all of the soft greens. The cropped version is a big improvement IMO. Well done.
Very nice.So something more like this?View attachment 24333
That was a Sigma 50mm manual focus on a Nikon Z7 with FTZ adaptor 4 seconds f/8 ISO 64super photo! Looks a tad compressed, needs depth. What lens did you use?
I'm not quit sure I understand all your saying but think I get the jest of it. I'll play around a little more with the crop and adjustment of the photo. ThanksI also like the crop better. Something about the left edge that is distracting and I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe all the forest floor on the right and the abrupt stop on the rocks on the left. Can you “move” the image a bit to the left? Yes it would “violate the rule of thirds” but rules are made to be broken. I think I would crop the right about half way from where it is now and the tree with the crooked base. Then open the left side back up a bit. I would not change anything too or bottom unless there is a specific aspect ratio you need to have.
I think you might be seeing, that on the right side, the soil, the nearest tree, and the face of the nearest rock are all a bit darker than the left side. It doesn’t necessarily bother me (I probably only really noticed it because I went looking for it).I also like the crop better. That is actually a light fog in the trees behind the main falls. The sun is coming through the leaves in beams making them look yellow, wish I could have figured out how to make the sun beams stand out more. These falls are in a fairly deep valley surrounded by hills.Maybe if the canopy, and the sky peeking through was a bit darker, that right might not be noticeable. Again, only because I went looking for something.
I like it.
Well, the falls and those rocks are pretty neat. These falls are in a fairly deep valley surrounded by hills.
I did readjust the white balance in post and fixed that. ThanksJust for future shots, I would have shot this at up to -1 EV. The greens in this image are slightly over exposed. Under exposing would result in much richer/deeper greens.
Exposure and white balance are two separate elements...I did readjust the white balance in post and fixed that. Thanks
I realize that but it got rid of the greens though it didn't make them richer, it got the trees etc more natural looking.Exposure and white balance are two separate elements...
