We're lucky to live in one of the 30 markets with Imax 70.

Thanks for the post Nimi. I'm not that up on all this tech stuff, but I would be interested on how the 'money no object' approach plus the gifted artists that do this approach stills photography.
There is a lot of overlap: David Lynch and David Fincher are photographers, as is Wim Wenders. Spike Jonze started out as a photographer. And most famously, Kubrick was a stills photographer before becoming one of the greatest filmmakers ever.
Kubrick got a Graflex when he was 13. Throughout his life he shot everything including Nikon F, Rollei, Hassys, Leicas, Polaroids, even Minox.

There are 30 theaters showing 70, probably many more 70Imax
could be that 70 imax theaters are showing other films

Grandson watched the film yesterday and is going back to see it again Sunday in IMAX. He was impressed, especially with the sound.
