Thanks for the post Nimi. I'm not that up on all this tech stuff, but I would be interested on how the 'money no object' approach plus the gifted artists that do this approach stills photography.

There is a lot of overlap: David Lynch and David Fincher are photographers, as is Wim Wenders. Spike Jonze started out as a photographer. And most famously, Kubrick was a stills photographer before becoming one of the greatest filmmakers ever.

Kubrick got a Graflex when he was 13. Throughout his life he shot everything including Nikon F, Rollei, Hassys, Leicas, Polaroids, even Minox.
