Sigma have released new firmware for their 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS lens.
This is the lens I pair with an A7III. The performance improvement of the optical stabilization is very noticeable. Sigma claim to have added their latest stabilization algorithm from the newer 60-600 DG DN. They also claim to have improved AF-C performance.
It's a great feeling to have signifcant performance improvements after purchase.
I think most people go for the Sony 200-600mm on this platform (especially for high fps photography) but until I get a faster camera that applies third party lens restrictions, I am very pleased with this Sigma and, almost equally importantly, I am pleased with the service the brand provides.
