I shoot mostly birds and had previously tried large ballheads and also a carbon fiber gimbal, but have now switched to the Flexshooter Pro. I really like it for me and my style of use. It is not as heavy and not as cumbersome to lug out to the field. I do think they are a bit overpriced but then again I find that to be true with most photography related gear. I was most pleased using it in a porta blind mounted on a Induro 404L tripod with my D850 and a 600mm f4 lens. It is quick and easy to balance the rig and I had no worries with it. My gimbal has sat on the shelf ever since! (For more insight watch Arthur Morris in his youtube videos on the Flexshooter Pro, that's what sold me.)
