My first outing with the Nikon 180-600. It was a long, long, long wait but the lens is terrific

We headed out a little before dawn

I think the heron is rejoicing the fact that y Nikon 180-600 finally arrived after a long, long, long wait.

Or is he happy to see the sun?

Congrats! Judging by these images, I'd say the lens is not disappointing!
Thanks Karen. I think the lens is very good.
Fantastic images. Looking forward to getting mine this week!
Thank you gnpToday. I hope you're as pleased as I am with the lens
Very Very nice sequence, looks like your going to have allot of fun with your toy. (y)

Thanks for the kind words Chris. Yes it is a great lens for kayaking and mobile wildlife/hikes.

Nice first outing with the new lens. Here I'm waiting for the wind and rain to stop
Thanks Dan. I look forward to your evaluation after the weather clears. Especially since I feel you have a lot of expertise and more Z lenses for comparison than I have. I only have two, the new zoom and the 800. The rest are F Mount lenses via the FTZ.
