Lovely capture (from both of you).

Not sure if this si the case, but I do feel the picture is highly over sharpened and a bit over-exposed.

Thanks, hrv, I use DXO's PhotoLab for post, and their "Clearview Plus" option does boost the apparent contrast, but the image is not "sharpened" per se.
I think it also seems to look more contrasty in the feathers when the file size is reduced. I went looking for the original RAW file to re-do the image, but did not find it.
Some small parts of the top of the head are a bit hot, but I did not want to loose it all to grey.
