Green-tailed Towhee

There are a good number of these birds on the property where my wife's family has a mountain cabin. Taking lots of pics since these guys are shy and hard to see and photograph normally. This shot was a few minutes before the sun came up over the ridge. Their song is very pretty. .

Thanks! While I think the green markings on the bird are pretty cool, I agree that the orange cap is what really sets this bird apart.
