Driving a back road after a day at the National Bison Range, I spotted this hawk on a fence post. We turned around, and I had to shoot this from the passengers side window
as there was no place to park, sure glad traffic was light to none. The action happened quickly as you can see the hawks face as my friend pulled up, and I begun my camera shots.
The hawk says I'm out of here, with a lift off and fly away, then up up into the sky.
I'm really enjoying the new Canon 7D Mark II with my EF 70-300mm L IS USM lens
